Born in McNeills Mills on October 12, 1938, son of the late Bayfield and Thelma (Hayden) Murphy.

Dear father of Shane, Ellerslie, Dale, Missouri, Paul, Maine, Vaughn (Carolyn), Maine, step-father of William (Maunda) Madairos, Derry, NH; Donna (Joe) Arsenault, Maine. Also survived by Jamie (Elizabeth) Rice, Summerside. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren.

Brother of Gladys Wagner, Ellerslie; Verna (Lester) Milligan, Poplar Grove; Evelyn Oakland, ON. Son in law of Blanche (Wallace)Hill, Maine.

Predeceased by brother Edward, sisters Lillian Barrett, Enid Milligan and father in law Earle Hickey.

Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Friday, December 26, 7-9pm.

Funeral on Saturday at the Bideford-Conway United Church at 2pm. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
