The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on July 23, 2026 of Mary Ellen Peters (nee Tibbo) of Mill River East aged 77. Dear wife of the late Clair Peters. Mary was born in Scarborough, Ontario on April 3, 1949, daughter of the late Merrill and Margaret (MacLean) Tibbo.

Loving mother to Michael Peters (Laura Picardi) and Julia Peters (Garnet Knibbs). Loving grandma to Madeline and Lincoln.

Mary is also survived by her brother and sister Merrill (Helene) Tibbo and LuAnn Weir.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, husband Clair (January 03, 2026), brothers Gary, William and Tom.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel, O’Leary with public funeral service on Wednesday at 2 p.m in the chapel. No visitation by personal request.
