The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on July 17, 2026 of Arthur "Heath" MacDougall of O’Leary aged 76. Loving husband of Maxine MacDougall (nee Betts). Heath was born in O’Leary on July 14, 1950, son of the late Allison & Florence (Adams) MacDougall.

Dear father to Paul (Joanie), Jason (Tammy) and Amanda (Shane) Gorrill. Loving grandfather to Ashley, Abigail, Alysen, Mallory, Brandon, Cole, Matthew, great grandfather to Emmett and Bodyn.

Heath is also survived by his brother Wayne (Joan) MacDougall, sisters Doris MacNeill, Esther (Dewer) Olson, son-in-law to May Moran, brother-in-law to Donna Ellis, Yvonne Buchanan, Michelle (David) Patterson, Karen Dyment, Blake (Brenda) Betts, Carter (Nancy) Betts, and Trudy Betts.

Heath was predeceased by his parents, brothers Claire MacDougall, Dale (in infancy), Father-in-law Orville Betts, brothers-in-law Sherman and Grant Betts.

Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visitation on Monday from 1:00- 3:45 with funeral service in the chapel at 4:00p.m.
