The death occurred on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, of Robert Bruce Matthew Of Summerside aged 70, Dear husband of Ivanira De Barros. Robert was born in Summerside on Oct 21, 1955, son of the late Harry & Anne (Douthwright) Matthew.

Loving father to Trevor (Lynn MacQuarrie), Melanie MacKay (Jamie) and the late Travis (Shelly Coughlin). Dear grandfather to Ryan, Kaden, Carter, Shelby-Lynne, Jacob, Kaarsin, Jasper, Liv Sabrina and Samantha.

Dear brother to Sharon (Gary Beairsto), Wendy (David Pickrell), Brenda (Earl Rogers), Cindy Warren and Roy Matthew.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, son Travis and brother Terry Matthew.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel O’Leary, with private arrangement.
