The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 of Marie Jean Collicutt of Alberton aged 92, wife of the late Ivan Collicutt. Marie was born in Cape Wolfe on March 31, 1933, dear daughter of the late Lloyd & Ruth (Durdan) Cooke.

Cherished mother to Darlene Gallant, Dana (Ginny), and Laurie (Brian) Hiscock.

Loving nanny to Jeremy Collicutt, Nicholas Collicutt, Deidre (Michael) Christian, Dr. Tanya (Brandon) Webber, Brett Oatway (Makayla Coughlin), Nathan (Mandelle) Oatway. Step grandmother to Ashley, Sherry-Anne and great nanny to Kate, Lily, Declan, Bennett, Ava Marie and Wes.

Dear sister to Elwood (Shirley) Cooke, Helen Sentner, sister in law to Edith Cooke and Beryl Cooke.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, husband Ivan ( September 26, 2024), daughter in law Irma Collicutt, son in law Eugene Gallant, brothers and sisters Kenneth Cooke, Keith (Vivian) Cooke, Cyril (Mary) Cooke, Ralph Cooke, Gerry (Doreen) Cooke, Edith (Roland) Pickering, Melvin Cooke and Marjorie Cooke in infancy and Bother in law Verouse Sentner.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with no public visiting by personal request Funeral service on Tuesday at the O’Leary United Church at 12:00 p.m.  Interment in the Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
