The death occurred peacefully, at his home, on Saturday, August 10, 2024 of Donald "Donnie" Joseph McKenna of Ellerslie, aged 55 years. Veteran of Canadian Armed Forces having served in Bosnia and Cyprus.

Donnie was born in Toronto, Ontario on September 30, 1968, son of the late Barney and Marie (Arsenault) McKenna.

Dear brother to Linda (Joe) McInnis and Gordon McKenna. Beloved Uncle to Nathan (Ashley) McInnis and Colin McInnis (Jill Bulger) also nephew of Cedric Arsenault, Wilfred (Helen) Arsenault, Kit Loschiuk and Priscilla Dominque.

Predeceased by his father, grandparents Joseph (Edna) Arsenault and Walter (Louise) McKenna, Aunts and Uncles Rena (Benoit) Poirier, Theresa (Harold) Millar, Alfred (Carol) Arsenault, Jean (James) Balsom, Stewart (Geraldine) McKenna, Alphonse Loschiuk and Simon Dominque.

Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting on Thursday from 5-7p.m. Comrades of Ellerslie Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of Remembrance for their late comrade at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 7pm.
Funeral on Friday in the Chapel at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Foxley River.
