The death occurred suddenly at his home in Mount Royal on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 of Robert David Ellis aged 57, beloved husband of Marion (nee Pine). Robert was born in O’Leary on March 15, 1966, son of the late Garfield and Irene (McCarthy) Ellis.

Cherished dad to Spencer (Andrea O’Rourke).

Dear brother to Eldred, Elton (Eileen), Linda (Bruce) DesRoches, Barbara (Andrew) Boylan, Vic (Robin), Wade (Marie), Gary (Jackie) and Darlene (Ricky) MacLeod. Brother in law to Harold (Karen) Pine, Howard Arsenault, and Fay Pine. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, mother and father in law - Harold and Gertrude Pine, brothers in law Michael Pine, Jimmy Pine, sisters in law Sharon Ellis and Helen Arsenault.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Monday 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral service on Tuesday in the chapel at 10:30am. Robert’s Funeral Livestream can be found on the Ferguson Funeral Home Ltd Page on Facebook shortly before the service time. Interment to follow in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock.
