The death occurred suddenly at Prince County Hospital, Summerside Saturday, June 3, 2023 of John Alfred "Alfie" Banks, Tyne Valley, aged 68, dear friend of Nancy Strongman.

Father to Kim Guimond (Billy Richard), Tammy Stewart (Scott) and Kayla. Grampy to Mitchell, Savannah, Stephanie, Tristin and great grampy to 5 great grandchildren.

Dear brother to Inez (James) Campbell, Cecil (Janet) Banks, Mike (Mary) Banks, Nancy (Morris) Wall and Daisy Banks (Donnie Williams). Alfie will also be missed by his nieces and nephews.

Alfie was predeceased by his parents, sisters Hazel Boyles, Linda (6 months old), brothers Ernest and baby Banks, both in infancy.

Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Wednesday from 1pm till the time of the service at 3pm in the Chapel. Interment to follow in the St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Ellerslie.

In memory of Alfie, memorials to the Funeral Expense Fund would be appreciated.
