The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 of Hazel B. Shaw of Bloomfield aged 76, beloved wife of the late Fenton Shaw. Hazel was born in Alberton on August 31, 1946, daughter of the late Eldred and Dorothy (Johnston) Hardy.

Cherished mom to Shanna (Lloyd) Phillips, Freeland and Jamie (Nicole), Bloomfield. Loving Ma to Tanner (Chelsey Fraser), Mitchell (Connie MacWilliam), Samuel, Carson and Isaac. Dear sister to Keith (Lorraine) Hardy, her special sister, Iris Barnett and Joyce (Wendell) Arsenault. Sister in law to Allan (Wendy) Shaw and Jean Shaw.

Hazel was predeceased by her parents, husband Fenton, daughter Evelyn in infancy, sister Carol Ann in infancy, brothers and sister in law Elaine (Glendon) MacKendrick, Lorne Barnett, Wendell Shaw and niece Ruth MacKendrick.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45pm followed by her service in the Chapel at 2pm. Interment to follow in the Elmsdale United Church Cemetery.
