The death occurred peacefully surrounded by family at  Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday February 23, 2021 of Steven "Dennis" Delaney of Ellerslie aged 63 years, loving husband of Louise (nee Poirier). Born in Summerside on April 1, 1957, son of the late Leroy Delaney & Jean (Vern) Murphy. Foster son of the late Ben & Marge Coughlin.

Loving father to Steven (Tammy) & Krystal (Ronnie) McLean. Special Papa to Kaitlyn, Gina, Josie, Devon, Ameila, Morgan, Emma, Amy & Desmond. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Dear brother to Linda, Eric (Marilyn), Darlene Howell, Fred (Joan) & Andrea Rhode (Steve). Brother in law to Dianne (Roger) Oatway, Melvin (Lynn) Poirier, Linda DesRoches, Ernie (Barb) Poirier & Paul Poirier.

Predeceased by his parents, foster parents, sister & brother in law Judy & Lorne Williams, sister Kelly Murphy, brother in law Frank Howell.

Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. At Dennis's request, his body will be donated to Dalhousie University for the advancement of science. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date when Covid 19 restrictions ease.
