The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, January 11, 2021, of Yvonne Mary O'Brien of Piusville. Loving wife of John "Jack" O’Brien, age 77 years. Born in Alberton on April 3, 1943, daughter of the late Edward & Evelyn Gallant.

Loving mother to Beverly (Larry) Gallant, Saint John, NB; Debbie O'Brien (Kevin McNeill), Elmsdale; Kenny O'Brien, Airdrie, Alberta; Roxanne O'Brien (Paul), Vancouver Island, BC and Derek O'Brien (Liz), Airdrie, Alberta. Loving Meme to Travis, Brittany Gallant, Devon O’Brien, Chansey Buchanan, Johnathan, Justin Corcoran, Dakota O’Brien, Nathan Clarke and 9 great grandchildren.

Yvonne is also survived by her sister Hermine (Brent) Costain, St. Lawrence; brother Fred (Winnie) Gallant, Alberton brothers and sisters in law Russell (Jane) O’Brien, Norbert (Judy) O’Brien, Garth (Faye) O’Brien, Myrna (Al) MacPherson, Barb O’Brien and Donna Richards.

Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, son John Thane O’Brien (2016), mother & father in law Jarvis (Regretta) O’Brien and brothers in law Ivan O’Brien and Francis O’Brien.

Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary , due to Covid 19 restrictions, private visiting hours and funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock. Interment to take place later in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Woodstock.

In memory of Yvonne, memorials to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
