The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 of Keith
Grant Cooke of O’Leary formerly of Cape Wolfe aged 97,
Veteran of World War II, husband of the late Vivian (Bowers). Special
Friend to Leta Cain. Keith was born in Cape Wolfe on November 20,
1920, son of the late Lloyd and Ruth (Durden) Cooke.
Cherished father to Barbara Harris (Darcy Nolte), Weyburn,
SK; Donna (Carl) Austin-Cook, Cape Wolfe; David (Wilma) Summerside;
Sharon Rumbolt, Edmonton, AB; Gary (Judy Larkin), Cape Wolfe; Nancy
Cooke, Summerside and Kim Cooke (Joe McMullin), Hammond Plains, NS.
Loving grandfather to 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren
and several great great grandchildren.
Dear brother to Edith Pickering, Summerside; Marie (Ivan)
Collicutt, Burton; Elwood (Shirley) Cooke, Cape Wolfe and Helen
(Verouse) Sentner, Cape Wolfe; brother in law to Beryl Cooke, Cape
Wolfe; Edith Cooke, Mary Cooke both of O’Leary and Shirley
Ward, Truro, NS.
Keith was predeceased by his parents, wife Vivian(2006), sons
Eddie and Roger, son in law Kenny Rumbolt, brothers Kenneth, Jerry,
Melvin, Cyril, Ralph and sister Marjorie.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visiting hours on Friday from 5-8pm. Funeral on
Saturday in the Chapel at 1:30p.m. Interment to follow in the Cape
Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
Comrades of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2 O'Leary Will hold
service of Remembrance for their late comrade on Friday at 4:45
pm.

Cemetery or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
