The death occurred suddenly, at her home, on Wednesday November 22, 2017 of Mary Penelope "Penny" Shea, aged 79 years, of Burton Lot 7, beloved wife of Leigh. Born on November 30, 1937 in Burton Lot 7, daughter of the late Edward and Mattie (MacDonald) Griffin.

Loving mother to Dan (Jo Anne), Ottawa, ON; Kelly (Kendall) Bradshaw, Milton and David (Joanne), Campbellville, ON. Beloved grandmother to Colin, Griffin, Liam and Emma.

Penny is also survived by her brother Jim (Joyce) Griffin, Hamilton, ON. and by brothers and sisters in law Rita Kennedy, Granby, QC; Billy (Elaine) Shea, Tignish and Mary Shea, Montreal, QC.

Penny was predeceased by her parents, brother Ronald and sister Barbara Penny.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Sunday November 26th for family and close friends from 2-4p.m. Forwarded from Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O`Leary to St. Mark`s Roman Catholic Church, Burton Lot 7 for funeral Mass at 3:00p.m. on Monday. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
