The death occurred at the Provincial Palliative Care Center, Charlottetown of Shirley Ruth Lynch, formerly of Foxley River, aged 78, wife of the late Leo J. Lynch. Born in Bloomfield Station on October 16, 1936, daughter of the late Vernon and Lena (Smith) MacInnis.

Dear mother to Carl (Shelley), Charlottetown; Dale (Lillian), Enfield, NS; Adrian (Sharon), Foxley River; Paul (Sharon), Conway; Rose (Roger) MacDonald, Clyde River; Randy, Edmonton. Step- mother to Phyllis (Leonard) Gallant, Summerside; Peter, Woodvale; Joseph (Ann), Alberton; David , Fredericton; Ann Lynch (Wally Conohan), Stratford and Robert (Sherry) Coughlin, Charlottetown. Loving grandmother to 31 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Shirley is also survived by her brothers and sisters Fred (Belle) MacInnis, Beverly (Basil) Chaisson, Charlottetown; Barb Wheeler, Gail Korsman, Massachusetts; Donnie MacInnis, Wayne MacInnis, Robert (Sis) MacPhee, Patsy (Bobby) MacDonald, Norman (Linda) MacInnis, Mary Lou (Rickey) Storey, George MacInnis, all of Charlottetown, and Susie (Roy) Aylward , Saint John, NB.

Predeceased by her parents, brothers Walter, Billy, Phillip and Jimmy.

Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Sunday 2-5p.m and Monday until 10am then to St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment in St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

Ellerslie Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #22 will hold a service of remembrance for their late member at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:45pm.

In memory of Shirley, memorials to Hospice Palliative Care (West Prince) would be appreciated.
