George Carruthers MacKinnon

MACKINNON

At Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Thursday, June 14, 2012,  of George Carruthers MacKinnon, O’Leary, aged 71. Born in O’Leary, on June 6th, 1941, he was the son of the late Clarence and Jennie (nee Carruthers) MacKinnon.

George is survived by brothers and sisters: Beverly Getson, Unionvale; Betty McCormick, O’Leary; Rankin (Betty Ann) MacKinnon, O’Leary; Adrice (Blair) Collicutt, O’Leary and Deborah MacPherson, O’Leary. 

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents, sister Dawna (George) McCormick, brother Muncey, and brothers in law Ken McCormick, Hartley MacPherson and Ralph Getson.

Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Friday from 2-4pm amd 7-9pm. Funeral will be Saturday in the Chapel at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in the Springfield West Baptist Church Cemetery.
