Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, of Philip Steele of Montague, formerly of O’Leary and Brockville Ontario, age 58 years.
Beloved husband of Dolores (nee O'Connor). Cherished father of Casey (Carolyn MacDougall), Calgary and Mark (Tamara Gough), Charlottetown.
Son of Freda & the late Elmer Steele, Westport, Ontario.
Dear brother of Ted (Janice), Westport, Ontario; Judy (John) Beaudry, Westport, Ontario; and Bill (Joey), Abbottsford, B.C. Brother in law of Sandra & Joe Gallant, Stratford; Roy Drake, Morell; Pat & Margie O'Connor; Mike & Nancy O'Connor, Fortune; Steve & Sandra O'Connor, New Glasgow, N.S.; Terry & Heidi O'Connor, Germany; Sharon & Doyle Hachey, Sackville, N.B.; and Charlotte & Gerard MacAulay, Hunter River. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Pre-deceased by sister-in-law, Maureen Drake and brother-in-law, Gerard O'Connor.
No visitation by personal request.
A Celebration of Phil's Life will be held at Ferguson's Montague Chapel on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with a reception following at St. Andrew's Presbytrian Church Hall, Montague.
If so desired, memorials to The PEI Cancer Treatment Center or to Kings County Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
