The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, February 16, 2019 of Irene Celena (Murphy) Cotton, of Kensington, formerly Ellerslie, age 87, wife of the late Earl Cotton. Born on September 13, 1931 in Mount Pleasant, daughter of the late James & Elizabeth (Wilson) Murphy.

Dear mother to Blair (Una), Ellerslie; Shirley (William) Bruce, North Milton and Allison (Roxanne), Mount Pleasant. Loving grandmother to Ryan (Melissa Chaisson), Amanda and Courtney.

Predeceased by her parents, husband Earl (February 15, 2017) brothers William and Roy and sister Marguerite in infancy.

Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours on Tuesday from 2-4pm &7-9 pm. Funeral on Wednesday at the Victoria West United Church at 2 pm.
