The death occurred at
Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, January 15 , 2019 of
Judith Margaret Banks, of Cavendish, formerly of Murray Road, age
72.
After a short but courageous battle with cancer Judy
received her wings with her loving family by her side. Born in Port
Elgin, N.B. on January 5, 1947, daughter of the late Lester and Betty
Jean (Johnson) Jones.
Cherished Mother to Cindy Banks (Harry Yeo), Cavendish;
Cheryl Banks (Butch Bouchard), Summerside; Kimberley Banks (Henry
Oliver), St. Felix. Loving Nanny to Justin (Sam) Doran, Melissa (Joel)
MacIsaac,
Olivia Doran (Ryan Profitt)
, Evan Rayner (Emily
Preston) , Jacob Rayner, Maria Rayner, and great
grandchildren Sadie and Harlee Doran. Special Nanny
to Jada and Julia Yeo
and Reagan Burke.
Judy is survived by the father of her daughters Wilbur
Banks, sisters and brothers Buddy (Joanne), Patsy (Rick), Donna
(Trevor) Jones, Kevin T (Paulette), Rob V (Brenda), Wayne (Linda),
Kevin J, Richard and Robert J (Kim) and sisters and brothers in law
Georgie Riley, Loretta Strongman, Fran (Hal) Murphy, Georgie (Austin)
Trainor, Russell (Marilyn) Banks, Heather Banks and Inez (Larry
) Hicks.
Predeceased by brothers Donnie and Steven, sister Cheryl,
great grandson Nash Doran, and brother in laws Art Strongman and David
Banks.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral
Chapel for private family visitation on Tuesday January 22nd from
5-8p.m. Funeral for family on Wednesday January 23rd at St.
John's Anglican Church, Ellerslie at
11:00a.m.
