The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Sunday, February 19, 2017 of M. Olive (Silliker) Compton formerly of O'Leary aged 89. Born in Milburn on October 17, 1927, daughter of the late Ralph and Lilla (MacWilliams) MacNeill.

Dear mother to Barbara (Eugene) Morell, Prince William, NB; Norma Getson, Alberton; Marilyn (Wayne) Smallman, Knutsford and Margaret Ann (Wendell) Graham, Mill River East.

Loving grandmother to Sonya Fleming, Shawn (Carolyn) Morell, Corey Getson (Calico Arsenault) , Nicole (John) Perry, Darcy (Christina) Getson, Courtney (John) MacLeod, Chad (Sarah) Smallman, Darrell (Trinity Costain) Smallman, Chelsey Smallman (Jordan MacIsaac), Justin (Natalie ) Graham, Jamie Graham, Stacey (Chance) Lynch and to great grandchildren Mark, Michelle, Jennifer, Avery, Jake, Ty, Bryce, Jeneva, Caleb, Emmie Jane, Carter, Cohen, Mason and Peyton and to great great grandson Grayson.

Sister in law to Joyce MacNeill, Florence (George) Young, Alton (Eloise) Silliker and Marjorie Silliker.

Olive was predeceased by her parents, first husband Lester Silliker (1984), second husband Wellington, son in law Myles Getson, granddaughter Barbara Jean Morell, brothers Kenneth, Keir, two brothers in infancy and sisters Myrtle Rix and Helen MacEwen.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8p.m. Funeral on Wednesday at the O'Leary Church of the Nazarene at 2:00p.m. Interment in the Spring in Mount Royal Peoples Cemetery.
