The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Sunday, January 29, 2017 of Richard "Ricky" Lorne Ellis, Dunblane, age 62, beloved husband of Donna (nee Betts) Ellis. Born on January 16, 1955 in O’Leary. 

Dear father to Carmen (John McInnis), Richard (Sarah Jones), Dana (Priscilla) and Kurtis (Joanne). Loving grandfather to Caitlin (Skylar Hustler), Taylor, Hunter Ellis, Mia, Cooper Ellis, Kennedy, Finnley and Isla Ellis. Great grandfather to Abbie, Ali and Lydia.

Ricky is also survived by, brother, Brian (late Jean) Ellis, sister Marylois (Blair) Bernard, his mother in law May Betts, brothers and sisters in law Maxine (Heath) McDougall, Yvonne Buchanan, Grant (Trudy) Betts, Michelle Betts, Karen Dyment, Blake (Brenda) Betts and Carter (Nancy) Betts.

Ricky was predeceased by his father Lorne, brothers Graeme and Shannon.

Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Thursday 6- 8 pm. Funeral on Friday in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment to follow in the Glenwood United Church Cemetery.
