The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton on Thursday, January 19, 2017 of Arlene Genieva Currie of Lady Slipper Villa, O'Leary formerly of Springfield West aged 92, wife of the late Lester Currie.

Arlene was born in Springfield West on January 9, 1925, daughter of the late Lester and Jennie (Williams) Waite.

Dear mother to Foster (Dorothy), Summerside and Claretta (Ronnie) MacWilliams, West Cape. Loving grandmother to Peggy (Joe) Fraser, Nelson Currie, Donna Currie, Judy Currie, Rodney (Stacy) MacWilliams, Randy MacWilliams 15 Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren. Sister to Myra Wilkie, sister in law to Daisy Waite and Mary Gay and niece to Mae Waite.

Predeceased by her parents, husband, son Leith, granddaughter Jenifer, brother Percy and  infants Allison Elbert and Judy Adele.

Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with visiting hours Sunday evening 6-9pm and Monday 1pm until 1:45pm. Funeral on Monday in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O'Leary at 2pm. Interment to follow in the Bethel United Church Cemetery.
