The death occurred at Queen Elizabeh Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 of Rita "Doreen" Wood of Summerside, age 80 years. Born in O’Leary on August 3, 1936, daughter of the late George and Jean (Harris) Ellis.

Dear friend of Thane Milligan and mother to Gary, Scarborough, On and Cathy Wood, Summerside. Loving grandmother to Alan, Jamie (Jill), Trevor (Lynn), Travis and Jessie Lynn and to great grandchildren Ryan, Kaden, Carter, Shelby, Jacob, Kaarsin, Jasper, Liv, Lexi, Riley, Jade, Kale, Jessie and Ian.

Doreen is also survived by brothers and sisters in law Ruth (Lorne) MacNeill, Andrew (Marjorie) Wood, Helen Wood and Lily Wood. Predeceased by her parents and husband George and son Dale.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Sunday from 2-5p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday at 1:00p.m in the Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery.
