The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, March 19, 2016 of David Reagh
Sudsbury of Arlington, aged 74 years, dear husband of Mary (Moore)
Sudsbury. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Armed Forces. Born on
February 19, 1942, son of the late Reagh and Thelma (Semple)
Sudsbury.
Loving father to Donna (Bloyce) Curtis; Karen Sudsbury,
Heather (Pete) Hachey, Michael Sudsbury (Kylie White), Leeanne
(Andrew) Farrar. Step father to Larry Rodd, Michelle (Paul) MacGregor,
Randy (Heather) Rodd, Lynn Rodd (Bruce Gallant) and Brian (Tammy)
Rodd. Grandfather to 22 grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren.
David is also survived by sisters Glenn Beairsto and Sharyn
(Philip) MacDougall. Sisterss and brothers in law Ronnie (Phyllis)
Moore, Jeff (Heather) Moore, Chuck Moore, Mary Moore Phillips
(Sherwin) and Glenda (Danny) Moore. Foster sister Norma (late John)
Locke, brothers Lowden (Norma) Ashley and Ivan (Dorothy)
Ashley.
David was predeceased by his parents, brothers in law Boyd
Beairsto and Carman Smith, foster parents Ruth & John Ashley,
step grandchildren Robert and Matthew Curtis, mother and father in law
Myrtle & William Moore and brothers in law Jim, Frank, Danny
and John Kevin Moore.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting
hours on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral will be
held on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tyne Valley
Presbyterian Church. Interment to follow in the Tyne Valley
Presbyterian Cemetery.Comrades of the Royal Canadian
Legion, Ellerslie branch # 22 will hold a service of remembrance for
their late comrade at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at
6:45pm.
In memory of David, memorials to the PEI Lung Association or
Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
