The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, February 5, 2016 of Percy Seymour Sentner, of O’Leary, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Norma (Harris Smith). Born in Elmsdale on March 20, 1933, son of the late Emmett and Frances (Matthews) Sentner.

Dear father to Leah (David) Eldershaw, Hampton; Robert (Cathy), Merrickville, ON; Leigh (Carole), Charlottetown; Troy (Evelyn) Didsbury, AB., and step father to Ann (Rick) James, O’Leary; Judy (David) Wood, Knutsford and Carolyn (Blaine) Carragher, Springfield. Loving Grampie to 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Percy is also survived by brothers and sisters Miriam Thomson, O’Leary, Verouse (Helen) Sentner, Cape Wolfe; Betty Grant, Vernon River; Arlene (Doug) Smith, O’Leary; David (Bonnarae) Sentner, Piusville; Emily (David) Ellsworth, Miminegash; Linda (Percy) Manuel, Edmonton, AB; Gary (Rhoda) Sentner, Miminegash and sisters and brothers in law  Everett (Margaret) Wood, Summerside; Lana (Vance) Luttrell, Cartier, ON; Audrey Leard, O’Leary; Winburn (Isabel) Harris, Knutsford, Barb Harris, Charlottetown and Alberta Harris, Sackville, N.B. Predeceased by his parents, first wife Leota Ann Wood, son Lonnie and brothers John and Edgar.

Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel at 10:00a.m.

Interment in Bloomfield United Church Cemetery.
