Roderick Leo MacNeil

Suddenly at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, of Roderick Leo MacNeil of Belfast and formerly of Iona, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, in his 67^th year. 

Beloved husband of Anne Marie (nee Peters). 

Loving father to Leo (Christina), Grand Prarie; Roderick (Tandi), Stratford; Jason, Calgary; Amanda, Belfast; Kevin, Grande Prarie; and Kirk (Mandi), McLennan, Alberta. 

Cherished grandfather of Sydney, Sadie, Emma, Wim, Isaac, Morgan, Ava and Lee. 

Also survived by his adopted sister Margie McEhlone, Halifax; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by his parents, Rory D. and Mary Josephine MacNeil, brothers and sisters, Sadie Fowler, Betty Kressner, Neil, Micheal, Lawerance, Roy and Bernie MacNeil.

Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Saturday at 10:50 a.m., then to St. Mary's Church, Montague for funeral mass at 11.

Interment later in Cape Breton.

Visitation:  Friday 7-9 p.m. only.
